Tourist Attractions in Klang, Selangor

It is a city in the western state of Selangor, Malaysia , which belongs to the Klang City Council. Its area is 573 square kilometers, the population of its jurisdiction was 744,062 in 2010, and the population of the city center was 240,016. The city borders Kuala Selangor to the north, Shah Alam and Subang Jaya to the east, Banting to the south and the Strait of Malacca to the west. Klang is about 32 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur city centre.and there are two famous islands along the coast of Port Klang, Pulau Ketam and Pulau Indah.
1. Little India

The Kuala Lumpur City Government moved the name of Little India District from Jalan Masjid India to 15 Monuments, so this is the first place where Indians settled in Kuala Lumpur, and many religious and cultural sites related to Indian descent are also gathered here. Goldsmith shops, restaurants and shops. The main facilities include the Vivekananda Ashram (1904), which is still used for spiritual education courses, prayer and yoga courses. On Jalan Berhala (Berhala means prayer), near the river bank, is the Fifteen Monuments branch of the Temple of Fine Arts (Temple of Fine Arts), an Indian arts and charity organization. Because there are many Hindu temples in the area, there are many vendors in the surrounding area selling flowers and wreaths used to worship the gods.

2. Royal Klang Town Heritage Walk

In addition to learning about the history of the town and mosque, you should also check out other places of worship in Klang. These include the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes and the Guan Ren Teng Klang Church. The best way to visit these places is to take the Royal Klang Town Heritage Trail, which is free. Surprisingly, not many tourists and visitors know this heritage trail! In order to join it, you need to contact the Klang City Tourism Office for travel details. This trip was jointly organized by the Klang City Council and Selangor Tourism Office.
Now that you know, join the group and explore another side of Klang that you may not know. You will have half a day for a walk with your guide, who will introduce each attraction in detail. The attractions you will visit include Guanyin Temple, Gedung Raja Abdullah, Klang Post Office and Chennai Silk Palace.

3. Tanjung Harapan

In research from VisitSelangor.com (n.d.) Tanjung Harapan is a 2.5 to 3 kilometre long seaside promenade where people may relax and enjoy the sea wind. Views of the cape and Northport's massive maritime cranes are among the greatest in Selangor's Klang area. Pavilions and high gazebos line the wide walkway, which runs parallel to the major road and has plenty of parking. The turmoil of day-to-day activity is relieved by makeshift tree swings with seats constructed of wood boards and old tyres. This is one of the best places to see a gorgeous sunset, and it's also a favourite area for tourists and locals to take a relaxing walk along the coast. There are also other restaurants in the area where people can enjoy a delicious meal after a long day.

4. Klang Kwan Imm Temple

Kuan Yin Temple is one of many historic structures in the Royal Town of Klang, according to VisitSelangor.com (n.d.). The temple's circular archways and elaborately carved pillars, roofs, and entrances are a monument to the craftsmen's talents and abilities when it was completed over a century ago in 1892 (Visitselangor.com) (n.d.). A garden with a koi fish pond is also included on the temple grounds, providing a break from the rush and commotion of Klang. It's a stunning temple with ornate carvings and brightly coloured architecture. It's a one-of-a-kind spot where you can soak up some culture while also finding sensory peace.
5. Masjid India Klang

It is the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. It is located beside Tun Perak Road and at the confluence of Klang River and Emark River. It was designed by Arthur Benison Huber, an assistant architect of the Public Affairs Investigation Bureau during the British rule, and opened in 1909. In Arabic, "Jamek" means a place where Muslims gather for worship. Local residents also call it "Friday Mosque".

6. Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery

The 109-year-old white building is near the Klang South Railway Station. He was built by A.B. Hubback, the queen architect of the British colonial government. In the early days, it was the administrative building of the British government. In 1942, it became the headquarters when the Japanese army invaded southward. After the Japanese surrender, it became the Klang Land Bureau. Between 1973-1985, it was the police headquarters of Selangor. Since 1987, its identity has changed to Klang Town Hall. Since 2005, it has become a memorial hall for the 9th Selangor Sultan to worry about his father. Many private collections of the royal family are exhibited inside, and the family history of the Selangor royal family is also recorded.

7. Istana Alam Shah

The Istana Alam Shah Palace is located on Jalan Istana, Klang South District. The Anan Shah Palace was built in 1950 to replace the Mahkota Puri Palace. Part of the palace is open to the public to visit, but only at certain times. Nearby are Taman Bandar Diraja Klang, Stadium Padang Sultan Sulaiman and the Royal Klang Club.

8. Kota Raja Mahadi

One greatest history of Klang is King Abdullah Ibni Almarhum King Jaafar battle against King Mahadi Ibni Almarhum King Sulaiman. The reasons of initiate two wars in royal town was all
because of the right to claim the Klang River as well as its two banks. It was built in the year of 1866 and it is situated in Bukit Kota, Klang. The history behind Kota Raja Mahadi and its architecture are worth knowing to understand more about Klang.

9. Klang Parade

Klang Parade, a household name in the local area, is a shopping paradise for the whole family. Klang Parade for family shopping mall customers is a modern shopping event and an ideal destination for a large shopping mall. There are gathered parade clothing and clothing stores here, which is a paradise for the surrounding residents. There will never be one in a shopping center. A dull weekend, and once held a craze of activities. The net lease area of Klang Parade is 654,690 square meters. There are a dazzling array of retail stores here, and you can choose from a variety of entertainment and pastimes.
